PPAI Takes Its Message to the Sky
In 2007, passengers on all US Air audio-equipped flights were able to hear PPAI's Immediate Past Chairman, Paul Kiewiet, MAS, talk about branding through promotional products. The program, entitled "Best Practices in Incentive Marketing," aired worldwide on the airline's "Business and Lifestyles" channel. Kiewiet was joined by Sandra Stark, director of Starbucks Global Card Services; Robert Bell, COO of Centra Marketing and Communications; Dana Stockbower, director of marketing for Rymax Marketing Services and Davina Whitmore, director of sales, Ovation Rewards Fairmont Hotel. The total audio passenger reach was 3.34 million on 19,000 audio-equipped flights. The latest survey by J.D. Power & Associates states that over 72 percent of those in first and business class listen to in-flight audio.
