This opportunity is a great growth opportunity for someone who wants to transform a company and an industry. PPAI is the trade association for the 26-billion-dollar promotional products industry and this position will be a visible position to lead digital transformation for the entire industry.
Essential Functions and Primary Duties
- Lead significant internal change of systems and approaches to leveraging technology.
- Understanding existing systems, and ability to identify and lead the implementation of streamlined systems.
- Work closely with others on the leadership team to identify, prioritize, and execute plans.
- Lead and facilitate industry technology approach.
- Oversee all digital components and strategies.
- Map business processes.
- Oversee web strategy and product development efforts.
- Develop and manage budgets for technology projects.
- Ensure security, compliance, and risk management for all IT systems.
- Foster cross-departmental collaboration to ensure technology alignment with organizational goals.
Skills/Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field such as computer science, information technology or information systems.
- Demonstrated ability to understand business needs and translate them into effective technology solutions.
- Proven hands-on leadership experience, with a track record of leading teams while actively contributing to project success.
- Exceptional time management skills, able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to drive initiatives with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring the accuracy and quality of all deliverables.
- Proficient understanding of computer programming and software development practices.
- In-depth knowledge of databases, and data transport mechanisms, including APIs and XML.
- Extensive experience in technology leadership, with a demonstrated ability to manage IT teams and influence technology strategy.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, leadership, and external stakeholders to drive technology initiatives and business outcomes.
