MAS/CAS Recertification
Both CAS and MAS certifications are valid for 3 years.
Recertification is accomplished by acquiring 25 additional points during the 3-year period and submission of the $75.00 recertification fee.
- 15 points which must be through completion of coursework including live classes, workbook, audiotape, CDs, webinars and online learning programs. Courses can be in any industry-relevant area.
- 10 points can be through industry contribution. This includes points for service on PPAI board or committees, regional association boards and committees, service as a mentor through PPMN, for developing and/or presenting approved courses, and other varied service.
- There are no examinations or curriculum requirements to complete recertification.
Life Certification
Life Certification EXEMPTS designees from the recertification requirements listed above. An individual can achieve Life Certification by meeting one of the following requirements.
- 60 years of age or more – Complete Life Certification form located in MAS/CAS Forms
- A member of the PPAI Hall of Fame
- A “Lifetime Member” of PPAI
