New York-based distributor Campus Stop (PPAI 667875, Silver) has announced that Karie Cowden, MAS, has joined the company as vice president of sales and operations.

  • Cowden, a member of the PPAI Board of Directors, has owned and operated Phoenix-based distributor Connect the Dots Promotions for 16 years.
  • She’ll continue to serve as president of that company, according to Dylan Cohen, sales manager at Campus Stop.

Cowden’s Impact

Since joining Campus Stop in February, Cowden has led the transition to a new client-focused software system and implemented structured presentation formats, allowing the sales team to focus on core activities and boosting overall productivity and performance.

Cowden’s Background

A nearly 30-year veteran of the promotional products industry, Cowden previously worked for Vantage Apparel – the No. 12 supplier in the PPAI 100 – among other firms.

She is also an active volunteer, having previously served as president of the Regional Association Council and is a two-time PPAI Board member, having served from 2008-2012, in addition to her current tenure.

  • Cowden is also a director of PromoCares, a volunteer-driven group of industry members dedicated to corporate social and environmental responsibility.
