Pennsylvania-based supplier alphabroder (PPAI 156993, S16) has made two high-level moves involving positions of leadership.
- Eric Levin’s appointment to EVP of hard goods strategy and growth represents a further investment into the hard goods division by alphabroder.
- Additionally, Joe Blackburn joins the supplier as VP operations – decoration.
An Investment In Hard Goods
EVP of hard goods strategy and growth is a newly created role for alphabroder.
- The company is investing further in hard goods.
- Levin’s immediate focus coming into the role will be on the organic and acquisitive growth strategies for alphabroder’s hard goods business.
- Earlier this year, the company created “One-Stop Solution” as a website resource to find all of the company’s apparel and hard goods products.
“I am excited to take on this expanded role,” says Levin. “I am looking forward to applying my industry knowledge and help further develop alphabroder’s commitment in the hard goods world.”
- Levin was formerly the founder and CEO of supplier Jetline before its acquisition by Prime Line in 2016, which would later be acquired by alphabroder.
- Prior to the creation of the role, Levin was already considered a de facto expert of hard goods within the company.
“Eric is our hard goods business expert and is well positioned to bring immediate value to our hard goods customers,” says Mark Lawrence, COO of alphabroder.
Another VP Hiring For alphabroder
The supplier also announced the hiring of Joe Blackburn as VP of operations – decoration.
- Blackburn was most recently plant manager of Owens Corning Company.
- He also spent 20 years at Schneider Electric, working in manufacturing, process improvement and engineering management positions.
This role will lead the decoration operations team and report to Lawrence.
