Angie Cartwright founded National Grief Awareness Day in 2014. Since then, the day has been observed annually on August 30. It’s an opportunity to help people learn about grief and encourage open communication about loss and bereavement.
Whether someone is mourning the loss of a loved one or a pet, or they’re experiencing grief over an illness, injury or other challenge, they may feel a wave of different emotions. Branded products from places like nursing homes, veterinary clinics, counseling offices and hospice-care providers can help remind those who are grieving that they are not alone.
In this issue of Promotional Consultant Today, we share a few ideas for National Grief Awareness Day.
