At Sunday’s Volunteer Luncheon, PPAI recognized the accomplishments and commitment of those who have dedicated their time and insight in service of the industry and the Association. The reception was also an opportunity for PPAI to thank its retiring board members and committee volunteers for their service, and welcome incoming board members and officers, and volunteers.
At the reception, outgoing PPAI Board Chair Rick Brenner, MAS+, passed the gavel to Tom Goos, MAS, 2016’s incoming board chair. Goos will lead the Association’s board through The PPAI Expo 2017; Brenner will serve as immediate past chair of the board for the coming year. Mary Jo Tomasini, CAS, chair-elect; and Bruce Perryman, MAS+, vice chair, financial services, will begin their one-year terms immediately following The PPAI Expo 2016.
The luncheon also introduced incoming board members Perry Wehrle, president of distributor PAW Marketing, Inc., and Brittany David, vice president of sales at supplier SnugZ USA. They begin their four-year terms immediately following the Expo. Retiring from the board this year are Chuck Fandos, CAS; Norma Jean Knollenberg, C.I.P., CPIM; Julia Wright, MAS+; Mark Jenkins, MAS+ and at-large member David Nicholson.
