The Michigan Promotional Professionals Association’s (MiPPA) Hall of Fame Selection Committee has selected Dave DeWitt of Advanced Marketing Partners and Paul Gualtieri, MAS, of HALO Branded Solutions / Paramount Marketing Group, as inductees into the MiPPA Hall of Fame. The honors will take place at a celebration in conjunction with the regional association’s annual meeting on November 14 at the Skyline Club in Southfield, Michigan.

DeWitt served on the MiPPA Board of Directors from 2012 – 2016, serving as president in 2015. He guided the association through its turnaround from a struggling organization to a premiere regional association. Among his contributions, he built MiPPA’s leadership in legislative advocacy in joining PPAI in Washington, D.C., for Legislative Education Action Day (L.E.A.D.) and replicating that success in with the association’s annual legislative breakfast in Lansing. He was also instrumental in updating and upgrading the bylaws, and policies and procedures improving MiPPA governance, and continues to be a ready and passionate volunteer for the association.

Gualtieri began his board service to MiPPA in 2000 serving as first vice president, the delegate to the Regional Association Council (RAC) and also as the District 3 delegate and treasurer of the RAC Board of Directors. He is also an active member and regular industry volunteer. Gualtieri has been active in PPAI, RAC and MiPPA, assisting with the association’s Promotions That ROAR!, The TOM Show and Luncheons With The Stars events. He is also active in the community—from Scouts to Knights of Columbus, coaching community teams, and serving on the board of the Wayne State University Alumni Association Board of Directors, where he also served as president. Active in his church, he’s volunteered for the Spirit of Detroit Committee, Detroit Jazz Festival and is currently vice-chairman of the Ambassador Committee of the Auburn Hills Chamber of Commerce.
