On August 3, the Houston Promotional Products Association (HPPA) held its annual Hot Stuff Expo at Houston’s Sawyer’s Yards. The event was the regional association’s third in-person event following the pandemic, the first being in October 2020. This summer’s event was held under the theme, “The Best Little Trade Show In Texas.”
HPPA’s Hot Stuff Show is normally for distributors only, but this year’s event was opened up to end users to add more value. The show drew 235 distributors and 110 guests to connect with approximately 140 exhibitor booths. The show also featured a product pavilion, at which attendees could vote on the show’s best new products, and a selection of food trucks.
“The feedback that we received was good,” says Peter Hirsch, MAS, president of supplier Hirsch Gift, and chair of the Hot Stuff Expo. “Everyone had a good show experience. We also have a very loyal group of volunteers. About 30 of them helped run the show, from registration to parking.”
