Apex Advertising Completes Year Of Giving With 30 Acts Of Kindness
LANCASTER, PA – Apex Advertising, a Lancaster-based, customer focused marketing and fulfillment agency, completed a year of giving in celebration of 30 years in business. The initiative, #Apex30for30, was built around a yearlong commitment to share 30 acts of kindness within the local community.
“We have always encouraged our team to support organizations that are meaningful to them,”shared Ron Weaver, president and CEO, Apex Advertising. “We do this with a paid time off program that allows employees to actively volunteer and by making ongoing donations to non profits nominated by our team. For our anniversary, we wanted to take this commitment a step further to make an impact in our communities.”
As part of the initiative, Apex Advertising made monetary contributions, donated products and services, and volunteered their time with 26 different organizations—multiple contributions were made to some organizations.
Non-profit organizations were selected via nominations submitted by staff, clients, or in response to organizations’ outreach. The company also worked with The United Way of Lancaster to better understand which organizations had the highest need.
In addition to the #Apex30for30 initiative, Apex Advertising’s on-going dedication to social responsibility includes a vendor vetting process, no tolerance discrimination workplace policy,and an employee volunteering program that includes eight days of paid time off for employees to use as they prefer.
