PPAI recently welcomed new major account manager Jackie Berg to the Association’s team. She brings an extensive background in sales and marketing, with a key focus on building meaningful relationships – integral to business development’s work – to the role.
Berg comes to PPAI from Ussery Printing. She’s been working in the print industry for more than 10 years. She began as an account manager before working her way up to senior account executive in her previous role. Her responsibilities included keeping and growing current clients as well as procuring new, internationally recognized accounts and events.
As a major account manager with PPAI, Berg will manage members’ business relationships with the Association, including trade show booths, sponsorships and advertising, and media sponsorships and advertising.
“What impressed me about this role was the opportunity to be able to use my previous account management experience and focus on nurturing customer relationships,” says Berg. “One of my favorite aspects of working in sales is making sure the client got excellent service and is satisfied with the product from creation to execution.”
Berg’s initial focus in the role is to get to know the members she will be working with and build a rapport. She adds, “I want to be constantly learning new ways to make myself an important addition to the Association long-term.”
Outside of the office, Berg is an avid sports fan – “Go Sun Devils and Buckeyes!” – and enjoys attending concerts. She says, “I also spend lots of time chasing after my very energetic 3-year-old Bordoodle – a border collie / standard poodle mix – Jagger. I also love to cook and arrange parties for my friends as well as be an excellent aunt to my nieces and nephews.”
