PromoShop (204997, D11) – ranked the No. 31 distributor in the inaugural PPAI 100 – has announced that COO Katy Alavez has been promoted to president of the Los Angeles-based company.
Memo Kahan, founder and the company’s former president, has moved into a CEO role.

New Beginnings
A 17-year veteran of the promotional products industry, Alavez has spent her entire promo tenure at PromoShop, entering as a human resources administrator and rising up the ranks to COO in 2018.
- She earned an MBA from California State University, Monterey Bay.
Earlier this month, St. Louis-based Facilisgroup (PPAI 493664) – a company that provides a software-as-a-service-based (SaaS) platform for promotional products distributors – announced that PromoShop has become its newest distributor partner.
- The partnership centers on Syncore – Facilisgroup’s cloud-based software solution – which was adopted by PromoShop to elevate its operational efficiency and seize new opportunities for growth, according to the company.
