PromoShop (PPAI 204997, Platinum), along with business services providers Web Services Pros (PPAI 799562) and Profill Solutions, have announced the formation of a cross-functional collaborative task force.

  • This initiative aims to design innovative solutions for integrated workflows, reducing friction in the order process between suppliers, distributors and 3PL partners.
  • PPAI 100’s No. 29 distributor, PromoShop earned High Marks for Innovation in 2024.

“This collaborative journey has been exceptionally rewarding,” says Kate Alavez, president of PromoShop and a candidate for the PPAI Board of Directors. “Combining strengths and leveraging cross-functional teams through technology is at the heart of digital transformation. Regardless of the integration tools or platforms individual companies use, looking at the process holistically is essential for success.”

Who’s On The Task Force?

PromoShop says the task force was inspired by the 2023 PromoStandards Hack-A-Thon, which required teams of promo pros to use PromoStandards protocols to solve real-world problems the promotional products industry faces.

“This initiative underscores our commitment to fostering collaboration and driving efficiency across all operational facets,” says Amy Rabideau, vice president at Hit Promotional Products – the No. 4 supplier in the PPAI 100. “Utilizing technology to generate fluidity has greatly reduced the problems faced by suppliers, distributors and 3Pls in the traditional order process.”

The task force includes:

  • Alavez
  • Rabideau
  • Jon Norris, chief strategy officer at Hit
  • Mehmet Buber, chief technology officer at Web Services Pros
  • Gulcan Percin, project manager at Web Services Pros
  • Robert Guler, president of Web Services Pros
  • Erin Winterland, e-commerce manager at PromoShop
  • Marisela Larios, vice president of sales operations at PromoShop

The task force says its key objectives are to develop seamless workflow solutions, foster teamwork and open communication, eliminate bottlenecks for smooth operations and deliver faster, more reliable services.

“Our goal is to bring a new level of transparency and efficiency to the order process,” Guler says. “By leveraging advanced technology and collaboration across all fronts, we’re not just solving today’s challenges – we’re laying the groundwork for a more streamlined future.”
