Spector & Co. (PPAI 168328) is making changes to its C-suite as Rob Spector, who had served as the company’s president for three decades, is transitioning to the role of chairman of the supplier, where he will offer strategic guidance from a big-picture standpoint.
- The Montreal-based company is PPAI 100’s No. 35 supplier and focuses primarily on hard goods.
New Roles For Familiar Faces
- Amid the shakeup, Alan Meinstein will step into the role of CEO.
- Meinstein came to Spector & Co. in June, joining the company as chief operating officer. Previous to that, he served as vice president of sales operations at electronics manufacturer Ominfy.
- He will be overseeing the continuation and evolution of the company’s growth strategy.
“I’m honored to step into the role of CEO and continue the incredible work Rob and the team have built over the past three decades,” says Meinstein. “I look forward to working with Samantha as we guide Spector & Co. through the next phase of growth.”
- Additionally, Samantha Kates has been promoted to the role of president.
- She had served as the company’s chief sales officer since January 2022.
- Kates has more than two decades of executive experience with industry companies, including commonsku, Charles River Apparel and iPROMOTEu.
- Revenue growth, marketing strategies and product development will all fall under her purview as president.
Last year, Spector & Co. opened a new 100,000 square-foot facility in Las Vegas.
