The Specialty Company – doing business as TSC (PPAI 134317, Silver) – has announced the acquisition of fellow distributor Promotional Alliance (PPAI 179710, Standard Plus). For the Ridgeland, Mississippi-based TSC, the move represents a further strategic expansion of its national footprint into the Minneapolis/St. Paul promotional market where Promotional Alliance operates out of.
The previous owner of Promotional Alliance, Steve Fangel, will stay on and transition to the role of TSC’s director of sales – Minnesota.

TSC’s Steady Growth
The move to acquire Promotional Alliance represents a continuation of growth of TSC into various U.S. markets through distributor acquisitions over the past five years.
- In December of 2020, TSC acquired Ice Blue Advertising, based out of Katy, Texas.
- The following year, it moved into the Pennsylvania market with the acquisition of Lasting Image Promotional Products.
- TSC acquired MPGTandem in late 2022, which is based out of St. Louis, Missouri.
- Earlier this year, Perfect Promotions & More, located in Apex, North Carolina, became part of the TSC property.
