Promotional Professionals Association of Chicago-Wisconsin (PPACW) is hosting its Promotional Excellence Gala Awards Ceremony on Friday, November 8, at The Forester, A Hyatt Place Hotel, in Lake Forest, Illinois.
- Formerly known as Promotional Professionals Association of Chicago, the regional association rebranded earlier this year to reflect its Wisconsin-based distributors and suppliers.
- PPAChicago absorbed the members of the Promotional Products Association of Wisconsin when it dissolved in March 2023.
The awards ceremony will recognize PPACW members for their outstanding achievements within the promotional products industry. In addition to the awards ceremony, Ellen Tucker, CAE, MAS, vice president of revenue and expositions at PPAI, will be speaking about the value of regional association membership.
- During the event, attendees can also expect a meal provided by top chefs, an open bar and plenty of music.
“PPACW is looking forward to recognizing its valued members with awards, dinner and dancing,” says Stacey Felice, CAS, executive director of PPACW and PPAI’s regional relations liaison.
- In 2023, the majority of regional associations officially joined PPAI as business service members.
- This year, PPAI has been conducting a series of “Membership town halls” at regional association events in order to bring clarity on a ground level concerning membership restructuring.
