PPAI technology partner SAGE (PPAI 100001) has launched several new features for its business management systems.
SAGE has consolidated its flagship services, formerly known as SAGE Total Access and comprising SAGE Online, SAGE Web and SAGE Mobile, into the new SAGE Workplace brand name.
- SAGE Workplace users will still be able access the SAGE Workplace web app, Windows app and iOS and Android mobile apps with no further adjustments or subscription changes from customers.
“We have always wanted to meet users where they are and provide access to our services regardless of whether you are using Windows, MacOS, iOS, Android or something else,” says Eric Natinsky, CEO of SAGE. “We are literally the only business services provider in the industry offering support for all these different operating systems.”
What To Expect
SAGE is also launching multiple new supplier data elements, allowing users to go directly to the exact supplier webpage for a product from the Workplace product detail page. This has been a “very popular request” from customers over the years, so the company is happy to finally bring it to life, according to Natinksy.
Carbon footprint data for industry products in SAGE Workplace will also now be available.
“More and more end users are asking for promotional products that meet very specific environmental guidelines,” says Dana Porter, SAGE’s vice president of information services. “With this update, distributors can now help their clients find products that meet specific environmental requirements or needs.”

Under the new updates, customers will also now be able to specifically search for print-on-demand products. “This is another element that has become very popular recently and we’re happy to provide this search capability for SAGE users,” says Porter.
Another new feature is Client Text Messaging, a new add-on feature in SAGE Workplace’s CRM module. For $495 per year or $49 per month per account, users will be able to send an unlimited amount of messages to an unlimited number of clients.
- Messages are sent from a unique phone number assigned to each customer’s account.
- When clients respond to messages, distributors receive an instant in-app notification.
- If a client calls the phone number, it will be automatically forwarded to the distributor’s main business phone number.
SAGE Presentation Upgrades
SAGE’s Presentation module will now have a gallery layout. The new layout will display products in an interactive and clean way, according to SAGE. Distributor clients will also be able to leave comments and feedback on products of their choosing.
SAGE Presentations have also been enhanced with other new customization features, including the ability to select header background colors, images and body background colors.

The new Presentation Wizard feature, powered by SAGE AI technology, will allow distributors to create a SAGE Presentation in one click.
- The technology uses various data attributes to craft presentation language and select products best suited for the specific client, event or promotion.
SAGE’s email service will also have new AI features, which allows users to use AI to draft email replies, summarize emails and more. SAGE Email Campaigns and SAGE Catalog Studio modules will now be accessible in the SAGE Workplace web app.
