Christine Fischer has taken on an expanded role as national director of vertical markets at American Solutions for Business (PPAI 101656, Platinum), PPAI 100’s No. 10 distributor.

• Fischer joined ASB nine years ago and has led the automotive vertical market since 2019.

In her expanded role, she will oversee not only the automotive sector but also healthcare, collegiate licensing, franchise and group purchasing organizations.

• While employees have the flexibility to choose a community service workday throughout January or February, many chose to participate in acts of service on Monday, January 20 in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
• Team members engaged in individual and team-organized volunteer efforts including supportive gatherings for individuals in correctional facilities, collecting coats and blankets for the Salvation Army Coat Drive, packing bags with essentials to provide to the homeless, and preparing and serving hot meals for nearly 200 individuals at a local soup kitchen.

The pair recently graduated from the Shelter to Soldier program.

• “Shelter to Soldier” is a nonprofit that adopts dogs from local shelters and trains them to become psychiatric service dogs or emotional support animals for active-duty military and veterans.

Michael Bistocchi, chief revenue officer of Logomark, had the honor of attending the graduation. “There wasn’t a dry eye in the crowd as we proudly celebrated another graduation ceremony of one of our sponsored service dogs, ready to help Shaneka, who bravely and selflessly served our country,” he says.
