The Michigan Promotional Professionals Association (MiPPA) board of directors has announced the appointment of Sydney Dych as its new executive director.
- Dych is succeeding PPAI Hall of Famer Paul Kiewiet, MAS, who retired at the end of 2024.
“I’m extremely honored and excited to be MiPPA’s executive director,” says Dych. “Paul and the board have left an incredibly strong foundation, and I look forward to taking MiPPA and its membership to the next level.”

Dych’s Background
MiPPA noted Dych’s strong foundation in business and strategic planning, and that her background in higher education, membership organizations, marketing and event management makes her well-positioned to lead with a fresh perspective and strategic.
- Dych recently worked as an event manager for event management company Ngage Management.
- She held multiple positions with the Troy Chamber of Commerce, including director of marketing and events.
MiPPA President David Szidik said that he’s thrilled to welcome Dych to the board, adding that her experience and excitement will create value for members.
