Leadership Development Workshop

PPAI's Leadership Development Workshop focuses on developing future regional leaders and enhancing relationships between the regional nonprofit associations in the promotional products industry. This annual event provides regional association leaders with comprehensive training and networking opportunities--the peer-to-peer interaction fosters and enhances relationships among all the regional associations.

Conference Attendance

Complimentary Attendees: 3 attendees (includes the ED) per engaged Regional
Engaged Regional Qualifications:
• Have provided current Board roster with contact information
• Have designated a Regional Liaison (volunteer, non-staff)

PPAI will pay for the workshop content, materials, hotel, and meals. Attendee or Regional will pay transportation to LDW.

Additional Attendee: 1 attendee (Earned or Paid)
One additional person may attend LDW either by earning an additional spot or paying a fee to cover their on-site costs.
A. Earned Spot Qualifications:
Regional may earn an additional spot covered by PPAI if the Regional provides or commits to the following requests:
1. Submit 2021 financial information for the benchmarking study
2. Agree to support Promotional Products Work Expo on September 29 as reasonably requested by PPAI. Expected support to be:
a. Two emails to all members (content to be provided by PPAI)
b. Banner ad on the Regional’s website
c. Ad in any newsletters sent out between August 1 and PPW Expo
d. EDs attend a virtual meeting to understand our PPW initiative
3. Agree to support PPAI Expo as requested by PPAI. Expected support to be:
a. Two emails to all members (content to be provided by PPAI)
b. Banner ad on the Regional’s website


B. Paid Spot:
Regional may purchase an additional spot for $750 (25% discount off full costs)

1.3 What Do The Best Board Members Do?

2.2 Sustainable Practices For Events and Tradeshows

Learn – Do – Teach is an important mindset in sustainability. In this session, the importance of asking and finding out what your vendors and their facilities do to be sustainable will be discussed as well as solutions for delivering carbon-neutral events.
