Aldi isn’t just a discount grocer with gourmet foods from all over the world; it has also built a cult following among its customers. What better way to connect with them than by bringing back its sell-out-in-a-hot-minute Aldi Gear line of apparel, which hits stores on March 19?
- The Batavia, Illinois-based retailer created its new merchandise assortment in response to shoppers’ requests for athleisure clothing for the entire family.
By extending its merch to kids, who also love the brand, Aldi introduced children’s products for the first time. The kids’ line includes colorful pullovers and Aldi-themed keychains to accessorize backpacks and sports bags.
Aldi Gear is the chain’s line of limited-edition merch created for and inspired by Aldi fans. The site says the merch is “fun and affordable way for shoppers to wear their fandom loud and proud on their sleeve (or head, shoulders or feet).”
However, shoppers should get to their nearest store’s Finds aisle early on March 19 because Aldi Gear sells out in record time.
Wallet-Friendly Merch For Happy Customers
The budget-friendly 2025 Aldi Spring Gear Collection includes quilted vests, joggers, sweatpants, pullovers, T-shirts, totes and more. All items are priced under $20. Fans can even grab eye-catching Aldi-branded sneakers for $12.99.
In line with its value proposition to offer shoppers affordable products, all Aldi Gear prices will make shoppers smile. They can grab 99-cent quarter holder keychains (for Aldi’s cart system) or $5.99 tote bags in three styles or quilted vests under $15.

“Every time we drop new Aldi-branded merchandise in our Finds aisle, our fans tell us they want more Aldi Gear,” says Joan Kavanaugh, vice president of national buying at Aldi. “This year, we’re going big for some of our tiniest shoppers by introducing Aldi Gear for kids for the first time. From pullovers and sweats to sneakers, we’re celebrating multi-generational love for Aldi by giving fans big and small what they’ve asked for.”
The original Aldi Gear Collection launched in the U.S. in 2022 and featured top-selling items like hydration bottles, slides, pajama sets and keychain quarter holders. The 2023 drop was the grocer’s largest and most popular collection to date.
Along with H-E-B, Aldi is tapping into recent retailer and supermarket trends to provide inclusive gear for the whole family of fans.
Expanding Faster Than Ever
Aldi also announced its plan to open more than 225 new store locations in 2025 as part of the next phase of its five-year national growth strategy. This is the most stores Aldi will open in one year in its nearly 50-year U.S. history.
- The grocery chain currently runs more than 2,300 locations in 38 states.
Aldi also saves shoppers money by requiring them to bring their own bags or “rent” shopping carts for a 25-cent deposit. The grocer is also a favorite location for snagging organic food and specialty items from overseas.
Because Aldi releases new swag throughout the year, fans can stay updated on upcoming releases by checking weekly store ads or visiting the Aldi Gear page.
