BAG MAKERS (PPAI 111408, Gold), PPAI 100’s No. 29 supplier, has announced that Pete Gleason, MAS, is returning to the company in the role of vice president of sales after nearly a decade away.

  • Gleason had previously worked at BAG MAKERS from 2009-2016. He held the same VP of sales title when he departed the supplier.
  • Between his two stints with the company, he worked at CPS Keystone Line, a plastic manufacturer, as the vice president of business development.

“We are thrilled Pete is returning as a member of our executive team,” says Maribeth Sandford, CEO of BAG MAKERS. “Pete is a highly respected, dynamic and seasoned industry leader, and he is already well versed with our products and services. This expertise will allow Pete to hit the ground running from day one to help us expand our sales reach.”

  • Gleason will officially begin his next tenure with BAG MAKERS on May 12.

For his part, Gleason says the reunion brings him back to a place where his work brought with it a particular source of pride.

“I’m excited for the opportunity to rejoin BAG MAKERS and to work with one of the best sales teams in the industry,” Gleason says. “I’m proud of what we accomplished together in the past, and I’m looking forward to helping lead the next phase of growth for the company.”
