Bush’s Beans might not be your first thought when it comes to Halloween goodies or branded merch in general, but “That Beautiful Bean Company” launched its first collection in 2010 to stock its visitor center gift shop.
More recently, the company recognized the marketing opportunity and made its quirky collection of fun branded items available online, from shoe charms to a “Cool Beans” holiday sweater. The shop has also launched holiday-themed merch for Father’s Day, back-to-school and, yes, Halloween – or as Bush’s puts it, Hallo-bean. Now you can go as your favorite can of baked beans or chili beans and even top it off with a “Beans All Over” bucket hat.

The beautiful bean merch has been a marketing boon, driving plenty of interest and fan-created content, with #beantok grabbing more than 84 million views on TikTok.

Disney, one of the most successful brand merchandisers ever, is celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2023 – as well as the 30th anniversary of The Nightmare Before Christmas. Whether the beloved stop-motion story is a Halloween movie or Christmas movie has been and continues to be hotly debated (Disney says it’s both), but Jack Skellington most definitely remains the King of Halloween Town, gracing countless suburban yards and retail displays every October.
Fans of the film can celebrate now (or stock up for Christmas) with new anniversary additions to its merch collection, including apparel such as pajamas, tees and hoodies, plus ornaments, pins, plush, figurines and more.

The Halloween Tribute Store at Universal Studios Florida also offers Hello Kitty Chucky merch, part of the park’s “crossover collection” combining fan-favorite characters.
The BTS Army can get in on the fun with “frighteningly cute” BTS-inspired Halloween merch, including mini backpacks, bag charms and inflatable decorations. The items feature eight cartoon characters dubbed “BT21” that have their own story and merch apart from but inspired by the K-pop superstars.

And even Starbucks knows October isn’t just for pumpkin spice. The coffee giant released a limited-edition collection of Halloween-themed drinkware in September that includes a pink pumpkin-shaped mug, a green “ooze” cold cup that glows in the dark and more.

It’s the latest in the company’s efforts to phase out disposable cups by encouraging customers to bring their own reusable cups and offering a discount and rewards points. The 2023 holiday collection won’t be far behind, with a preview already posted on the company’s “Stories” page.
