A 5.7-magnitude earthquake struck the Salt Lake City, Utah, area this morning, knocking out power for thousands, rattling buildings and forcing the closure of the city’s airports. Several aftershocks have since followed with the U.S. Geological Survey warning that more are likely throughout the day.
The Salt Lake City area is home to 239 promotional products industry businesses, and they may be experiencing some operational disruptions in the earthquake’s aftermath. Supplier SnugZ USA, headquartered in the Salt Lake City suburb of West Jordan, reports that its staff is fine but is asking for some time and patience as it works through the effects of the quake.
