commonsku (PPAI 552077) has announced the hiring of Dileshni Jayasinghe as its new vice president of technology.

  • commonsku is a cloud-based CRM, order management and social collaboration platform tailored to the promotional products industry.
  • Jayasinghe will be taking over for commonsku’s former chief technology officer, Michael Armstrong, who after twelve years with the Toronto-based firm, retired in March.

Jayasinghe’s Background

Jayasinghe brings more than 15 years of experience in designing and building scalable software systems, as well as a strong passion for AI-led development, according to commonsku.

Most recently, Jayasinghe served as director of engineering for Runbook Automation at PagerDuty, a company specializing in event automation and incident management.

  • She played a key role in scaling the engineering organization, integrating acquisitions and launching new products.
  • She also managed various groups and products within PagerDuty’s suite, including those focused on automating infrastructure workflows and AI for IT operations.
  • Her career also includes experience at Unata (an Instacart Company) and Freshbooks.


Beyond her professional roles, Jayasinghe co-founded ExploreTech TO, an organization dedicated to developing diversity among tech speakers in Toronto.
