If you like Dolly Parton’s baking mixes but have been wishing you could fry up those fluffy pancakes in a skillet with her face on it, well, some dreams do come true.

Hot on the (high) heels of the most recent expansion of her partnership with Duncan Hines comes Parton’s line of cast-iron cookware, courtesy of Lodge. No stranger to promo – and made in Tennessee, just like Dolly – Lodge Cast Iron now offers the Dolly Parton collection of three full-sized skillets and a mini skillet shaped like a guitar.

The small guitar-shaped skillets feature Parton’s signature and butterfly logo, while the larger skillets are cast with more intricate designs including a butterfly, a guitar and Parton’s likeness.

The overall campaign includes multimedia and multisensory experiences, with a trio of recipes inspired by Parton’s movie roles (like the 9-to-5 Coffee Cake) that are designed to be prepared in the skillets – and even a Dolly x Lodge playlist.

“Her songs inspire us, her Southern straight-talk transforms us and her generosity inspires us,” says a banner on Lodge’s Dolly Parton page. “Our original Dolly Parton cast iron pieces celebrate this icon – who just so happens to know her skillets, too.”

The kitchens at Dollywood, Parton’s theme park in the Smoky Mountains, have used Lodge skillets for years, and Allrecipes.com reports Dollywood’s Spotlight Bakery sells a 25-pound apple pie that includes a take-home Lodge skillet – perhaps soon to be replaced with one from the new collection.

In addition to her achievements in music and philanthropy, Parton has been building a reputation for her prowess in the kitchen over the past decade, largely through her partnership with Duncan Hines. This new venture with Lodge adds hardware to help fans prepare those mixes, which they can then serve on plates from Parton’s collection of party goods. A cookbook titled Good Lookin’ Cookin’ is due in September, too.

Promo pros already know that you can add a company brand or logo to Lodge cookware, available from several suppliers, but perhaps these designs for Dolly hint at the possibility for fully custom cookware in the future.
