Smash hit “The Pitch” will be returning to The PPAI Expo in Las Vegas for the third year in a row.
The combination of Shark Tank and The Voice gives exhibitors the opportunity to showcase innovative products to a respected panel of judges and win over potential clients.
- Up to seven presenters, which will include new and established suppliers, will have up to three minutes each to give their pitch.
The Pitch, which is free to attend, will be held on Monday, January 13, from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in Mandalay Bay Ballroom J.
Jill Begun
Professional Development Manager, PPAI
“We’re so excited to bring The Pitch back for a third year,” says Jill Begun, professional development manager at PPAI. “It’s such a great opportunity for suppliers to showcase their innovative and original products to a room full of current and potential clients. Plus, the audience gets to be super interactive and vote on who actually wins The Pitch. The event is a lot of fun and a great way to kick off the trade show floor opening the next day.”
Meet The Judges
This year’s panel of judges will feature four respected industry veterans.
- Nadav Raviv, senior national account executive for GBS Corp.
- Nenette Gray, founder of Lemonade Creative Marketing and a member of the 2024 #Online18.
- Stephen McFadden, director of vision and new business for The Specialty Company.
- Meg Erber, director of sales for Proforma, PPAI 100’s No. 3 distributor. Erber co-presented on behalf of S&S Activewear, PPAI 100’s No. 5 supplier, at the inaugural competition, and took first place with the Hero Hoodie, an easily reversible hoodie and backpack.
Past Success
Sweeter Cards, a St. Louis-based supplier, took home the winning title at The PPAI Expo 2024 after presenting a fully customizable greeting card and chocolate bar combination.
- One month after The Pitch, Sweeter Cards was named Rupt Ventures’ first strategic investment in the promotional products industry.
- Maple Ridge Farms, PPAI 100’s No. 60 supplier, announced in July that Sweeter Cards was its first acquisition in the Mosinee, Wisconsin-based gourmet food company’s 45-year history.
