HALO (PPAI 106463, Platinum) has announced the expansion of its leadership team by filling two vice president roles in separate departments within the distributor. Industry veteran Erin Cannata comes to HALO to serve the role of vice president of marketing, and Tina Ronafalvy has been hired as vice president of data engineering and analytics.

The hiring of Cannata and Ronafalvy represents years of experience in the promo industry as well as extensive knowledge coming from outside the field. In a statement, the distributor cited a commitment to attracting industry-leading talent to HALO.

A Veteran Of Brand Expansion

Cannatta joins HALO’s leadership team with more than 18 years of experience in promo.

  • Most notably, she spent 18 years at supplier S&S Activewear – PPAI 100’s No. 5 supplier – where she served as director of product marketing.

A significant portion of Cannata’s responsibilities will serve the goal of driving growth for account executives and sales team, leading brand development, go-to-market strategies and marketing tools and events. She will report to Jeffrey Wurtzel, HALO’s senior vice president of marketing.

“Erin’s track record in driving brand expansion and developing innovative marketing tools will continue to make HALO the leading distributor for industry sales professionals,” Wurtzel says.

‘Harnessing Data-driven Insights”

Ronafalvy brings an outsider’s perspective to the promo industry along with a wealth of experience leveraging data, analytics and AI.

  • She comes to HALO from MODE Global, a shipping solutions company that focuses on technology solutions.

Collecting and isolating relevant data, Ronafalvy will be tasked with spearheading strategic initiatives that the company undertakes based on those data findings. She will report directly to Amit Gaur, HALO’s chief information officer.

“Tina’s ability to harness data-driven insights will be instrumental in propelling HALO towards continued innovation and growth and her leadership will significantly elevate our data capabilities,” Gaur says.
