Logomark (PPAI 110898, Platinum) – the No. 14 supplier in the PPAI 100 – held a naming contest at The PPAI Expo 2025 to announce the arrival of its newest rescue dog through the “Shelter to Soldier” program.

  • Logomark is a Red Star Sponsor of “Shelter to Soldier,” a nonprofit organization that adopts dogs from local shelters and trains them to become psychiatric service dogs or emotional support animals for active-duty military and veterans.

Nearly 300 distributors displayed their “Shelter to Soldier” commemorative pins while submitting suggested names for the spunky 10-month-old shepherd-lab mix.

“The turnout was fantastic, and we had an unexpected treat when Hazel, one of our STS Canine Ambassador therapy dogs, made a special appearance,” says Michael Bistocchi, chief revenue officer at Logomark. “Many distributors lined up to pet, hug and snuggle with her.”

Drumroll Please…

The winning suggestion came from Leez Osterstock of BAMKO, PPAI 100’s No. 6 distributor, who named the psychiatric service dog Bodie.

  • Bodie will be serving a post-9/11 veteran suffering from post-traumatic stress, traumatic brain injury and/or military sexual trauma.
  • Bodie is one of eight total psychiatric service dogs, in addition to two ambassador therapy dogs, that Logomark has sponsored through the “Shelter to Soldier” program.

A portion of proceeds from Logomark’s Perka, iCool and Work collections are donated to the “Shelter to Soldier” initiative.
