Logomark (PPAI 110898, Platinum) – the No. 14 supplier in the PPAI 100 – has announced the arrival of its newest canine ambassadors, Hazel and Angus, as part of the “Shelter to Soldier” Canine Ambassadors program.
- Logomark is a Blue Star Sponsor of Shelter to Soldier, a nonprofit organization that adopts dogs from local shelters and trains them to become psychiatric service dogs or emotional support animals for active-duty military and veterans.
- These new therapy dogs will bring comfort and joy to American heroes throughout Southern California.
Hazel (pictured above) named in honor of a young girl who lost her battle with neuroblastoma, began her journey at a fundraiser for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation.
Angus is formerly a Shelter to Soldier psychiatric service dog who was relinquished back to the STS family when his veteran could no longer care for him. He was quickly adopted by his new dad and handler, Andres.
“It has been a heartwarming experience to witness these shelter dogs find their purpose and homes, while also supporting those who have bravely served our nation,” says Michael Bistocchi, chief revenue officer at Logomark. “Our entire team is grateful to be part of this meaningful journey.”
Committed to giving back, the Tustin, California-based firm dedicates a portion of proceeds from its Perka, iCool and Work collections to the Shelter to Soldier initiative.
