Overture Promotions (PPAI 288541, Platinum), PPAI 100’s No. 21 distributor, has announced the acquisition of Illinois-based distributor Eco Promotional Products (PPAI 793834, Standard-Plus).
- The acquisition is backed by Canadian private equity firm Westbridge Capital, which acquired Overture in 2021.
While EPP employees will stay on with Overture, Michelle Sheldon, owner and CEO of the company, will step down from her position and work with Overture’s leadership team to help with the transition.
“We are thrilled to be adding this passionate team of sustainability experts,” says Jo Gilley, CEO of Overture. “We will use their product and supply chain scorecards in our customer webstores and will apply our in-house services to expanding their customer relationships – a win for all of our customers.”

‘The Right Successor’
Founded in 2008, EPP specializes in environmentally and socially responsible promotional products and has clients in both the private and public sector.
- The firm is known for its product and supplier scorecard system that tracks and measures corporate social responsibility (CSR) and environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance.
“It was important to me to find the right successor for Eco Promotional Products, which has been growing year after year,” says Sheldon. “I knew right away that Overture had the right culture, core values, focus on sustainability, leadership and resources to make an even bigger sustainable impact.”

EPP joins Brandon, a Sweden-based company Overture acquired in 2024, as a member of the Overture Marketing Group. This is the second addition to the group, which Overture, a minority- and woman-owned firm, says will continue to expand.
