Last month, hundreds of industry distributors and their clients attended PPAI’s fall Promotional Products Work (PPW) Expo.
The first-of-its-kind virtual event was an opportunity to inspire clients and push forward the industry by showing the breadth and possibilities of what promotional products can do.
PPW Expo was so successful and well regarded that PPAI has decided to host a bonus fall event for any excited attendees who want to return with new clients or any distributors who may have missed the opportunity during what was a hectic time for many in promo and throughout the Southeast. PPW Expo fell on September 29, as significant parts of the country hunkered down amid Hurricane Ian.
PPAI is calling the additional event Promotional Products Work Expo Bonus Day. It will be held Tuesday, November 15 and feature all of the amenities of the initial show.
Attendees can log on from 10 am-4 pm (CT).
“The fall Promotional Products Work Expo was an exciting and successful day for distributors and their hosted buyers,” says Lindsey Davis, PPAI’s Promotional Products Work manager. “I’ve already heard great stories of projects and ideas that came out of the day. Unfortunately, Hurricane Ian impacted our members in the Southeast at the same time. After talking with a few of them, I’m so happy to be offering a bonus day for them to participate.”
For those who missed September’s PPW Expo, the virtual event provided product pavilions featuring more than 200 products from nearly 40 suppliers as well as a looping educational video on the power of promo, plus more video offerings highlighting key insights on sustainability.
“The format allowed our clients to get in and out and go on with their day,” Kara Keister, MAS, of Social Good Promotions said of the September PPW Expo. “The content was relevant, well-produced and did an excellent job of highlighting why working with a distributor helps elevate and protect an end user’s brand.”
The Promotional Products Work Expo is one part of an overall buyer outreach initiative designed to deliver on PPAI’s vision that promotional products are universally valued and essential to every brand.
“I’m extremely proud of the team and what they accomplished with this event,” says Dale Denham, MAS+, president and CEO of PPAI. “Creative ideas, solid planning and execution made this a unique and valuable experience.”
