Reciprocity Road has named Metropolitan Ministries, based in Chattanooga, Tennessee, as the latest recipient of its BrandGood grant. The $500 grant from Reciprocity Road, an alliance of 10 distributors located across the U.S and Canada, was voted on by the group’s BrandGood ambassadors and will support the Metropolitan Ministries’ (MetMin) mission supporting Chattanooga’s community through social services.

MetMin began as a mission venture of the Episcopal Commission of Southeast Tennessee in 1979, operating out of Christ Church, a local parish. The founders’ goal was to answer the calls for emergency financial assistance to community members in need. Through MetMin’s efforts, they assist with past‐due utility bills and rent, food vouchers to the Chattanooga Area Food Bank and an onsite grocery store for seniors.

Executive Director Rebecca Whelchel says, “This generous gift will be used to keep families from being evicted due to rental arrears. Having the ability to take that action can change the course of the future from dismal to stable, especially for families with children.”

Melissa Nannet, distributor member Flywheel Brands, recommended MetMin to the BrandGood team for Reciprocity Road’s quarterly grant recipient.
