The U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) published the final second list of tariffs in the Federal Register on Friday. The 25 percent tariffs on products from China go into effect on Thursday.

The hearings for the third list of products slated for tariffs began on Monday and run through August 27. The USTR reports that 350 people are scheduled to speak during the hearing, and that it has received more than 1,500 letters commenting on the tariffs through the official response venue, regulations.gov.
