The spooky season befalls us in October. While ghosts, goblins and ghouls rule the month, it’s also a time to promote safe fun in the days leading up to Halloween. Kids are more likely to be fatally struck by a vehicle on Halloween than on any other night of the year, according to a study published in “JAMA Pediatrics.” The most dangerous hours are prime trick-or-treating hours — between 5 and 8 PM.
During Halloween Safety Month, brands and businesses of all kinds can use promotional products to connect with families and communities. From promoting pedestrian safety on Halloween to highlighting safe pumpkin-carving tips, there are many ways to use promotional items to encourage a fun and safe Halloween season.
We’ve scared up a few ideas for Halloween Safety Month in this issue of Promotional Consultant Today.
