S&S Activewear (PPAI 256121, Platinum) has announced the hiring of Kendall Whitley as the company’s new vice president of team sales. Whitley comes to the supplier with significant experience in sporting goods.
- Last year, S&S Activewear acquired alphabroder, a move that sent reverberations throughout the promo community.
- In 2024, S&S was PPAI 100’s No. 5 supplier and alphabroder was No. 2.
The hiring of Whitley is intended to further grow S&S’s share of the team sales market in promo. He will report to Toby Whitmoyer, the supplier’s chief commercial officer.

“Kendall’s impressive track record and deep industry relationships make him the ideal leader to strengthen our team sales division,” Whitmoyer says. “His ability to build strategic partnerships and drive growth aligns perfectly with our vision for bolstering our team channel presence.”
- Since November of last year, S&S Activewear has now made five leadership appointments across the U.S. and Canada, strengthening its teams following its acquisition of alphabroder.
Working Within His ‘Playing Field’
Whitley comes to S&S most recently from Nations Best Sports, where he was vice president of athletics. In his four years there, he cultivated strategic partnerships, oversaw all business aspects of the division and led planning for sales and social media.
- He also spent nearly 14 years at Adidas as team sports director for the West region.

“I look forward to partnering with such a dynamic organization.”
