Like the big top at the circus, The PPAI Expo brings the promotional products industry together for various attractions.
- There’s The PPAI Expo Conference, a one-day educational event with a curated slate of experts from both within and outside the industry to enlighten promo professionals.
- There’s also The Pitch – a combination of Shark Tank and The Voice that features exhibiting suppliers attempting to impress a lineup of discerning distributor judges.
- Of course, there’s the longest-running and largest promo trade show with product pavilions, new exhibitors and thrilling surprises.
And throughout the four-day event, there are endless opportunities for attendees to connect with their peers.
- In fact, 90% of the PPAI 100 distributors will attend The PPAI Expo 2024 in Las Vegas.
“Expo is the best opportunity I have to connect with the very best people our industry has to offer,” says Joshua White, head of strategy and general counsel at Los Angeles-based BAMKO (PPAI 242148, D11) – promo’s fourth leading distributor in the PPAI 100.
“Whether planned or serendipitous, I end up having more high-impact conversations in the course of a few days than I do in any other week of the year.”
‘Fruitful Collaboration’
Building on the momentum from last year’s Expo, where Proforma (PPAI 196835, D13) – ranked the No. 5 distributor in this year’s PPAI 100 – had more than 150 distributor owners and support team members in attendance, the Independence, Ohio-based company will be back in full force to strengthen relationships and explore new opportunities.
In fact, Proforma has already reserved meeting rooms and dedicated significant resources to educating industry professionals on options available to them to optimize their business journey.
“Expo offers a unique environment to foster fruitful collaboration,” says Charity Gibson, chief marketing officer at Proforma. “What’s most exciting is our leadership team’s availability to connect with industry professionals who are ready to take their opportunities to the next level. We’re already busy scheduling appointments and look forward to meeting with all who sign up.”
“We’re at an incredibly exciting point in Proforma’s journey, and the PPAI 2024 Expo is a launch pad for it all,” Gibson says. “We can’t wait to kick off the New Year with everyone – let’s seize this moment to explore the possibilities together.”
Promo’s Reunion
iPROMOTEu (PPAI 218870, D12) – ranked the No. 13 distributor in the PPAI 100 – expects approximately 300 affiliates and salespeople in attendance at The PPAI Expo 2024.
In addition to organizing educational and networking events for its affiliates (and providing them breakfast and lunch each day), the Wayland, Massachusetts-based company hosts elaborate evening events for its affiliates and preferred suppliers. The firm also presents the “A Women’s View” networking reception on Wednesday, January 17.
“With the support of PPAI, iPROMOTEu provides its affiliates with the best possible trade show experience,” says Ross Silverstein, president and CEO of iPROMOTEu. “Without question, The PPAI Expo is an educational, energizing and fun way to begin the year.”
Meanwhile, Overture Promotions (PPAI 288541, D11) – ranked the No. 15 distributor in this year’s PPAI 100 – will be sending somewhere between 40-50 representatives to the extravaganza.
“I look forward to getting in-person time with our global partners,” says JoAnn Gilley, CEO of Overture. “Our sales staff will likely focus on continuing to identify high quality products with a strong sustainability component (as opposed to green-washed products) and on spending quality time with our preferred suppliers.”
Batavia, Ohio-based Kaeser & Blair (PPAI 103148, D12) – ranked the No. 42 distributor in the PPAI 100 – will also have about 50 members of its sales team in attendance.
“After 27 years, one of my favorite things about attending Expo is that it’s like a reunion with everyone in the industry,” says Liza Sachs, chief revenue officer at Kaeser & Blair. “The promotional product industry is such a close-knit group, and we’re all connected in some way or another. I know everyone will be taking advantage of all the networking, education and idea generation.”
