PPAI Woman Of Achievement Award
The PPAI Woman of Achievement Award recognizes a woman who has led the way in the advancement of women in the industry, exhibited outstanding leadership and made significant contributions to the industry and her community.
Nominations are now open.

An eligible candidate must:
1. Be a woman currently employed or retired from a PPAI member company in good standing.
2. Have been employed with one, or more PPAI member firms for a minimum of eight years during a career spanning at least 15 years.
3. Have demonstrated exemplary leadership abilities as demonstrated through years in the promotional products industry.
4. Have made significant and/or noteworthy achievements, or contributions to the promotional products industry resulting in a breakthrough, or milestone made at any time within the nominee’s career.
5. Have contributed time and talents to PPAI in at least three areas of involvement.
6. Have demonstrated service as a role model, or mentor that shows dedication to the advancement of women in the promotional products industry.
7. Not be on the Women of Achievement Advisory Group, or PPAI Board of Directors.
8. Must be off the PPAI Board of Directors and Women of Achievement Advisory Group for two years.

Nominations for the Woman of Achievement Award may be submitted by PPAI's Board of Directors, Association members (or member retirees) and Association staff (president, vice president and department directors with input from remaining staff who have frequent contact with members). Current members of the PPAI Woman of Achievement Advisory Group are not permitted to be nominated, or to make nominations.
Nominations are screened by the association staff to eliminate ineligible individuals. All eligible nominations will be forwarded to the Woman of Achievement Advisory Group who will select a slate of proposed award recipients to be presented to the Executive Committee for final approval. The Advisory Group may select up to a maximum of two award recipients each year. It is possible there may be some years when there will be no award winner.

PPAI Distinguished Service Award
The PPAI Distinguished Service Award is presented to PPAI members who consistently contribute their skills and expertise toward the betterment of the Association. Through volunteer service, or by offering their leadership to PPAI, these are members who generously give the benefit of their energy, time and enthusiasm to the Association. Nominations may be submitted by PPAI’s Board of Directors, committee members, Association members and Association staff.

An eligible candidate must:
1. Be employed by a PPAI member firm in good standing.
2. Have been employed for a minimum of five years with one, or more PPAI member firms.
3. Have contributed time and talents to PPAI in at least three areas of involvement.
4. Not be a Hall of Fame inductee, or current PPAI Board member.
5. Must be off the PPAI Board of Directors for two years to be eligible.

PPAI H. Ted Olson Humanitarian Award
The PPAI H. Ted Olson Humanitarian Award is presented to members who have shown long-standing empathy, devotion and commitment to improving quality of life and bringing about change for the betterment of a community. This tireless volunteer has exhibited exemplary devotion and volunteerism to non-profit, civic, charitable and/or educational organizations committed to the needs of the communities they serve.

An eligible candidate must:
1. Be employed by or retired from a PPAI member firm in good standing.
2. Have been employed for a minimum of five years with one, or more PPAI member firms.
3. Not be a current PPAI Board Member, or member of the award nominating committee.
4. Not be employed by, or receiving any compensation from any of the charitable/non-profit/civil organizations listed in the nomination form.

Nominations for the PPAI H. Ted Olson Humanitarian Award shall be submitted by Association members, PPAI’s Board of Directors, PPAI council, committee and action group members and Association staff. The Association’s Manager of Awards & Recognition will screen all nominations to confirm the eligibility of candidates. All nomination forms will be verified by the nominee for accuracy.
Eligible, verified nominations will be forwarded to a nominating committee who will select a proposed award recipient to be presented to the PPAI Executive Committee for final approval. Each nominee will be evaluated on the basis of his/her significant (not exclusively monetary), long-term and dedicated support to a variety of organizations. The nominating committee may decide not to forward a nomination if a suitable nomination is not received; it is possible that there may be some years when no recipient is named.
The Nominating Committee shall consist of four independent judges to include a past PPAI Distinguished Service Award Recipient, past or present Board member of the PPEF Board, a Board member from a non-profit or charitable organization and a member from a civic organization. A PPAI Board Liaison will be named and will vote in the event of a tie. Only one recipient will be named per year. Nominations may be carried over for one year on recommendation of the Nominating Committee. Committee members will rotate as requested but will serve a minimum of two years.
A personalized award will be presented to the recipient along with a $500 donation to be made in the recipient’s name to the non-profit organization of his/her choice. This presentation will be made at a suitable industry event. Additionally, the recipient and his/her designated charity will be featured in a PPAI publication.

PPAI Hall Of Fame
Through the ages, the flame has been the symbol of knowledge and learning, providing the creative spark for future growth and development. The promotional products industry has grown and prospered because of the creative spark and dedication of many, but there are some individuals whose selfless efforts and devotion to the industry are monumental. It is these individuals to whom PPAI gives permanent recognition through induction into the Association's Hall of Fame.

An eligible candidate:
1. Has made significant contributions to the promotional products industry and to his, or her community.
2. May be living, or deceased.
3. Cannot be a current member of the PPAI Board of Directors, or the Hall of Fame Advisory Group.
4. Must be off the Board for three full years before being eligible as a Hall of Fame nominee. The waiting period is reduced to one full year if the nominee served in a Board-appointed position filling a Board vacancy, or an at-large position.
5. Must be off the Hall of Fame Advisory Group for four full years before being eligible as a PPAI Hall of Fame Nominee.
6. Must not have been honored with the PPAI Distinguished Service Award within the past two years.

All Association members are eligible to submit a nomination.
Members of the Association’s Board of Directors and the Hall of Fame Advisory Group shall not be permitted to make nominations, or second nominations to the Hall of Fame.
Nominations will be screened by the Association staff to eliminate ineligible individuals. All eligible nominations shall be forwarded to the PPAI Hall of Fame Advisory Group to select and send a slate of candidates to the Board of Directors.
No more than half of the candidates may be posthumous nominations. Induction to the Hall of Fame shall be by ballot vote of the Board of Directors. Only "no" votes are to be cast. Negative votes by more than 40% of the eligible Board of Directors will be considered as a rejection of the nominee and that person will not be inducted into the Hall of Fame. Those candidates for the Hall of Fame who are not selected by the Hall of Fame Advisory Group will automatically be reconsidered for the next two years (a total of three years) by the Advisory Group. After that period of time, if the individual has not been inducted, he/she will need to be nominated again by a member before being reconsidered.

The PPAI RAC Volunteer Award is presented to a regional association member who has demonstrated an outstanding level of volunteerism, leadership and made other significant and measurable contributions to a regional association.

1. Must have been employed (for a minimum of five years) with or retired from a regional association member company in good standing.
2. May be living or deceased.
3. Have contributed time and talents to a regional association and served at least one term on a regional association Board.
4. Must Not be an active member of the regional association staff.
5. Current members of the RAC Board of Directors and the Advisory Group are not eligible for nomination and are not eligible until two years after service is completed.
6. RAC Board of Directors and/or Advisory Group members are not permitted to make, or second nominations.

The PPAI Legislator of the Year Award is presented to a current member of Congress who has demonstrated a high level of interest and support of the promotional products industry, our members and their businesses and pending legislation which could affect our industry and our members.

An eligible candidate must:
1. Have introduced, or supported legislation in line with the PPAI mission, goals and strategic plan.
2. Be in office at the time of nomination, selection and recognition.
3. Championed the cause of small business.
4. Supported PPAI in its product safety efforts.
5. Met face-to-face with industry leaders, visited member offices/factories and stayed in touch after an initial meeting in the last 12 months.
6. Attended a national, or regional tradeshow during the current year, or was a guest speaker at an industry event.
Nominations for the PPAI Legislator of the Year shall be submitted by Association members, committees, advisory councils and action group members, PPAI staff (president, executive vice president and department directors), PPAI Board of Directors, RAC Board members.
Current members of the Legislator of the Year Advisory Group may not submit nominations.
Nominations will be screened by Association staff to eliminate ineligible individuals. Verified nominations will be forwarded to the Legislator of the Year Advisory Group. The Advisory Group may select a maximum of two award recipients in a given year. It is possible there may be no award recipient in any given year.
The congressional leader who has been selected as PPAI Legislator of the Year will receive an award of recognition and will be invited to attend the L.E.A.D. dinner, or luncheon during the coming year.
