Much has changed at the Kalamazoo Pant Company since its founding in 1867. Known as the first manufacturer to mass produce pants with metal zippers, the firm, now known as Edwards Garment (PPAI 198530, Platinum), has since expanded to wovens, polos and knits, sweaters, outerwear, suiting and other bottom wear. With its three brands, Edwards, Point Grey by Edwards and EdwardsX, the company has also become one of the top apparel suppliers and is recognized as one of the best employers in the promotional products industry.

In the past year, the 157-year-old company utilized and completed the Higg Index assessment and partnered with a carbon counting company to further its sustainability initiatives. Edwards is also a part of the Sustainable Apparel Coalition, a group of nearly 200 global businesses pushing for improvements to supply chain sustainability.
