CarbonSuite (PPAI 834207, Standard-Base)
Ideal Customer:
Our ideal customers are distributors and suppliers with a revenue ranging from $10M-$1B+. They use NetSuite, have Sustainability / ESG program in place or on the roadmap, and have Carbon accounting requirements.
The Solution:
CarbonSuite is a Built-for-NetSuite carbon accounting software solution that helps your company to record, report, and reduce its environmental impact. CarbonSuite is a certified NetSuite “SuiteApp” that automates carbon accounting and sustainability reporting, all directly within your NetSuite ERP system. As certified experts in both NetSuite and Sustainability Management, CarbonSuite is here to help you streamline and integrate your sustainability process within your existing financial and operational processes in your ERP system.
Simplification of Systems – Avoid the tech Frankenstein that comes with disparate point solutions. Think of CarbonSuite as an additional NetSuite feature, simple to set up, adopt and navigate. A shared user interface (UI) allows quicker adoption time for IT and accounting staff. IT staff will not worry about data integrity or duplication as CarbonSuite data infrastructure is one and the same as the data entered directly in NetSuite.
Shared Duties – CarbonSuite allows the office of finance to perform financial accounting and carbon accounting in a singular system. CarbonSuite licensing allows for any NetSuite full access user to also access CarbonSuite, simplifying costs and setup time. Carbon emissions data comes from many sources, such as the employee who entered their travel mileage in an expense report or from the vendor who supplied electricity to the office. Teams logging into NetSuite will be entering such data sources, reducing the data gathering burden from sustainability officers and finance departments.
Time and Money Savings – Traditional API integrations are often time consuming, requiring subject matter experts from disparate systems to perform lengthy integration mapping and design sessions. Many systems do not have the same fields, so mapping can be an exercise in trying to fit a square peg into a round hole. Integration testing can be fraught with unpredictable delays during unit testing, usually requiring testing in one or more development environments. These dev environments add cost and along with long implementation timelines, the time to value can be months to years. CarbonSuite does not require any
integration, seamlessly converting NetSuite transaction data into Emissions calculations while in the system. CarbonSuite is preconfigured with it’s Emissions Workbench and GHG reporting, allowing time to value within weeks. CarbonSuite’s primary configuration occurs during the NS record to report and procure to pay process areas and can be harmonized with a larger NetSuite implementation project or added immediately after a NetSuite go-live in a phased approach.
Confidence and Legitimacy – Being on the NetSuite platform allows companies the confidence that CarbonSuite is leveraging the very best in data security, backup and recovery. CarbonSuite has met the rigorous standards to hold the title as an SDN SuiteApp Partner, and is continuously re-certified with every new NetSuite release.
