2020 Board Of Directors Election
The PPAI Board of Directors election is now closed.
Each PPAI member company has a voice in the direction of your Association. If you are the voting contact of a member company, you are entitled to select two new qualified Directors who will represent your interests.
The election process is simplified for the voting membership. Candidates are nominated and vetted by their peers who identify them as possessing the skillsets and business acumen needed for the PPAI Board. After countless hours of interviews and a comprehensive review of qualifications, new Board member nominees are approved by your elected Board of Directors and are then endorsed by PPAI members like you.
This year's Board of Directors election will be conducted by a third party election administrator. The voting contact for each member company will have the opportunity to vote electronically. Please contact Anne Stone or 972.258.3041 if you have any questions.
Note to voting contacts: You will be emailed your 2020 username and password on September 1 to the email on file. These usernames and passwords are auto-generated for security reasons and will be different from your 2019 voting login.

Information On Election Process
Transition From Election Process To Selection Process
Nominees for the Board of Directors are proposed as a slate and confirmed by the membership through an election and no longer individually elected by popular vote.
Allows better opportunity to constitute a Board of Directors with a balanced skill set and experience best suited for leading the organization into the future.
Makes the process less of a time-consuming, peer-to-peer competition, applies strategic foresight and brings transparency to the process.
“The quality of the candidates this year was stellar as was the process which, for the first time, focused on the analysis of the skills and competencies the board needs going forward. Significant time was spent on what the existing board skill sets are and what will be needed going forward. This made choosing between the stellar candidates clearer than ever as we know what competencies the board will benefit most from going forward.” - Dale Denham, MAS+ • Geiger
"The Leadership Advisory Committee (LAC) has put in countless hours over the past several months and I am impressed with the work they did along with the Elected Directors Nominating Committee (EDNC). I trust the process and am very pleased with those who have been put forward on the slate. A huge thank you to everyone that was involved in the process including all of the candidates." -Brittany David, MAS • SnugZ USA
